Commitment Weekend for Archbishop's Charity and Development Drive Pledge

If you have not yet made your sacrificial pledge to suppot the ABCD, you will have an opportunity today at Mass to make your pledge. You are encouraged to respond to Archbishop Wenski's invitation letter sent by mail or to use the pledge envelope available in Church.

This year's ABCD theme, "One in Charity," reminds us that being Christian is not a burden but a gift: God the Father blessed us in Jesus Christ his Son, Savior of the world. Knowing Jesus is the best gift any person can receive; that we have encountered Him is the best thing that has happened in our lives, and making Him known by our word and deeds is a joy.

"CHARITY IS A GIFT NOT A BURDEN"

ABCD

This year again, we are emphasizing the importance of 100% participation in our parish. It is our hope that we will receive a pledge from all active households in our parish community. On behalf of Archbishop Wenski and myself, but most especially on behalf of the people in our parish and Archdiocese of Miami who will benefit from our compassionate gift, I thank you for your sacrificial gift to the ABCD. May God bless you.
